The special lecture of British Middlesex University Meg Osborne

Meg Osborne, a director of Programmes for the B.A Fashion Degree of Middlesex University, visited SKKU school of art on May 2nd and gave special lectures to students. The special lectures gained attention from SKKU students and also 70 art school students and 4 SKKU officials attended this event, including head of school of art. Not only that, Meg Osborne received many questions from students and answered the questions. Middlesex University is located in London, Britain and it has a long history of Art School. The visit was a good opportunity to broaden relations between the two universities and they agreed to discuss cultural exchanges further and expand programs for exchange students.

Three universities of South Korea, China and Taiwan hold Art Fair

On April 27th, SKKU held an art fair with Xiamen University of China and NTNU of Taiwan at SKKU Art Gallery, School of Business. 70 works were introduced. 20 delegates from Xiamen University and 11 delegates from NTNU attended the opening event of the fair. In particular, NTNU announced that it had a great chance to have a better understanding of SKKU and also reached an agreement to discuss dual master-degree programs.

It had an opportunity for prospective graduate school student to be involved further study and career. After persentation, It was implemented in-depth session for postgraduate scholarshoips and on site scholarship in Jobyeongdu internationall hall.

Professor Cjung eui Sook (39) from Department of dance was selected by committee of Arts Council Korea The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism appointed 4 members of the Committees on March 4. One of them is selected for professor Cjung eui Sook who is from her alma mater(skku). she had a background in a president of Korean Culture and Arts and representative of Azid contemporary dance association of Korea.

2016 Korea-Japan Joint Reasearch Seminar : Sungkyunkwan university department of dance and Meiji university department of information communication Sungkyunkwan University Department of dance has conducted Korea-Japan Joint Reasearch Seminar with Meiji university department of informaion communication on March 9 The seminar was promoted in order to expand the bilateral relations between Korea and Japan cultural and academic exchanges.
