This class aims to analyze the rapidly growing field of Disability Arts from various perspectives in humanities and social contexts. It seeks to enhance understanding of disabled art through field training activities, such as live performances and exhibitions, and to cultivate creative practical skills for planning and implementing disabled art. Through this class, students will develop their ability to connect with diverse members of society through art and lay the groundwork for them to emerge as world-class artists. The significance of this class lies in its approach, not viewing disabled art merely as a welfare concept but fostering a new and creatively Interdisciplinary art that embraces the unique characteristics, strengths, and weaknesses of all members of society through hospitality and coexistence. Interdisciplinary Art is a term coined to describe a unique and creative art form that did not exist before in Korea. This class attempts to present a fresh approach by analyzing existing disabled art.
