The ability to express and control our own emotions is important, but so is our ability to understand, interpret, and respond to the emotions of others. Emotional intelligence (EI) refers to the ability to perceive, control and evaluate emotions. researchers suggest that emotional intelligence can be learned and strengthened. Based on the model proposed by Salovey and Mayer, four different factors of emotional intelligence will be dealt with in this class: the perception of emotion, the ability reason using emotions, the ability to understand emotion and the ability to manage emotions.

This course focuses on creating outfits and fashion imagery based on conceptual themes, tailored for aspiring fashion image and visual professionals. Students will learn to style, produce, and art direct for various media, including print and online fashion magazines, ad campaigns, commercials, e-commerce, lookbooks, fashion shows, fashion films, and personal clients. Throughout the course, students will develop essential skills used by fashion stylists to find inspiration, conduct research, and address both commercial and creative briefs. By the end of the course, students will have built a styling portfolio showcasing their diverse styling projects.

Through lectures and film viewings, readings, discussions, team projects, and individual research, students explore fashion as a crucial aspect of culture with an emphasis on how the contemporary fashion system evolved from its roots in Parisian couture to become a global phenomenon. The course will study how fashion can help us understand the ways in which tradition and innovation, creativity and technology, localism and globalization, identity and diversity, power and body, are elaborated and interpreted in contemporary society, and in relation to a globalized world.

This course is designed to give you a taste of game design without requiring high technical skills. In this class, you will be able to work with open game engines, and in the process, you will be able to try out different game interactions and experience firsthand how interactions affect the emotions of the player.
